The Farming Health Hub

The PCN initiated these monthly health checks at Holsworthy Livestock market as part of the Health Inequalities Project, a chosen specific emphasis on farming.

This initiative is for our local community and aims to enhance the connection between the PCN and local farmers, their families and visitors to the Livestock Market in Holsworthy.

We chose the Holsworthy Livestock Market as a venue to engage with the farming community. Debbie Gardner and Buffy offer health checks that are accessible to all interested individuals, fostering trust and promoting healthy relationships with farmers and their families.

The Health hub continues to grow in strength and August (2026) saw an appearance on BBC Spotlight.
